Buttermilk Roast Chicken

NOTE: I used all legs, and the meat was so tender and juicy. Which, as it turns out, my husband doesn't like. He prefers well done chicken -- at least well done chicken legs. I probably should have broiled the tops for a bit as a compromise, making the skin a little crisper.
